Such wonder!

The lights are very dimmed but the 'presence' of the Last Supper is huge.

It's strange but from this viewpoint (our eyes are below the centre of the mural), you would swear that the vanishing point is above Jesus' head. In fact, it is situated just below his right temple.

As you walk backwards and gain some distance from the painting, the illusion of a higher vanishing point gradually recedes. Still, the effect was so strong at first that I found myself doubting my own work for a moment.
